Located in Vasiliki, a peaceful bay at the southern tip of Lefkada Island, our center offers one of the calmest freediving environments in Europe. We operate directly from the Surf Hotel, right on the beachfront, giving us immediate access to ideal training spots — no long transfers, no crowds, just the sea and you.

What makes our location unique?

Crystal-clear, calm waters — especially in the morning, the bay is often completely flat, resembling a lake.
Little to no current — perfect for both beginners and advanced divers.
Warm water — ranging between 21°C and 28°C, depending on the season.
Reliable wind patterns — calm mornings for diving, breezy afternoons for windsurfing. That’s why all our sessions take place before 4 PM, ensuring perfect diving conditions.
Quick access to depth — our boat reaches the deep line (20–60 meters) in just 2 minutes from the beach.
Shallow training area — a protected beach spot just a short swim from shore, ideal for first-time freedivers.

MEET THE TEAM

At the heart of Freedive Lefkada are two passionate instructors — Eliška and William — who combine years of teaching experience with a deep love for the sea, adventure, and helping others grow.

Eliška Tomuňáková

Freediving Instructor, Yoga Teacher, Co-Founder

Originally from the Czech Republic, I may not have grown up by the ocean, but I’ve always done everything I could to stay close to it. After completing a Master’s degree in Human Movement, I spent over a decade working by the sea in Croatia and Greece, helping people create memorable holiday experiences.

My love for freediving and yoga began while traveling in the Philippines — and since then, I’ve taught in Zanzibar, Egypt, and now here in Greece. I’m especially passionate about helping students find calm, confidence, and joy in the water. Whether you’re here to try freediving for the first time or deepen your connection with the ocean, I’ll make sure you feel supported, relaxed, and safe throughout your experience.

William Graham

Freediving Instructor, Outdoor Sports Coach, Co-Founder

I grew up on the south coast of England, surrounded by water and driven by a love for the outdoors. After finishing college, I trained as an outdoor instructor and spent the past 11 years teaching sports like rock climbing, skiing, hydrofoil windsurfing, sailing — and of course, freediving.

For me, freediving is about mental clarity, discipline, and freedom. I work with students of all levels, from first-time breath-holders to experienced divers looking to improve their technique. My goal is to help everyone feel confident, safe, and inspired — no matter where they’re starting from.

I bring a calm, focused, and direct approach to teaching. Students often appreciate my clear instructions, steady presence, and ability to keep things simple and grounded — even when we’re training at depth.

✈️Getting Here Is Easy

Reaching Freedive Lefkada is straightforward. Simply fly into Aktion National Airport (PVK), also known as Preveza Airport, which is the nearest airport to Lefkada Island. From there, it's approximately a 1.5-hour drive to our location in Vasiliki, situated at the southern end of Lefkada.

Rent a car

Renting a car is easy and gives you the freedom to explore Lefkada on your own. Several companies operate right at Aktion Airport, and we can also help you book with our trusted partner, Eurowheels.
