Booking policy

By submitting the booking form, you confirm your participation in the selected freediving course or training session and agree to abide by all points outlined in this Deposit and Booking Policy.

Booking Confirmation​​

​

  • Your booking becomes confirmed once you receive our written confirmation.

  • Your spot is secured only after the deposit is received, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • If the deposit is not received by the agreed deadline, we may release the spot to other students.

Deposit and Payments

​​

  • A deposit is required to reserve your place for freediving courses and selected training packages.

  • The deposit amount and payment deadline will be stated in your booking confirmation.

  • The remaining balance is paid on site, either via bank transfer or in cash, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • All prices are charged in EUR.​

Deposit Amounts

​

  • AIDA 1 deposit: 70 € 

  • AIDA 2 deposit: 100 €

  • AIDA 3 deposit: 150 € 

  • Training Sessions deposit: 30 € per session

Cancellation and Deposit Policy

​

If you need to cancel, please inform us as early as possible by email or WhatsApp.​​ The time of receipt (Greece time) applies.

COURSES (AIDA 1, AIDA 2, AIDA 3)

  • When a cancellation is received more than 14 days before the course start date, we will refund your deposit.

  • When a cancellation is received 14 days or less before the course start date, the deposit is not refundable. We will issue the deposit amount as a credit instead.

  • Your credit remains valid until 30 September 2027 and can be applied to any available course or training session, subject to availability.

  • Credits are issued to the original participant and can only be transferred with our written approval.

  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.​

  • Credits must be used for services of equal or higher value. Any price difference is paid on site.

TRAINING SESSIONS

  • For Training Sessions, the cancellation window is 48 hours before the scheduled session start time.

  • When a cancellation is received more than 48 hours before the scheduled session start time, we will refund your deposit.

  • When a cancellation is received within 48 hours of the scheduled session start time, the deposit is not refundable. We will issue the deposit amount as a credit instead.

  • Your credit remains valid until 30 September 2027 and can be applied to any available course or training session, subject to availability.

  • Credits are issued to the original participant and can only be transferred with our written approval.

  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Credits must be used for services of equal or higher value. Any price difference is paid on site.

Minimum Participants and Course Capacity​

​

  • Our group courses require a minimum number of participants. The maximum group size depends on the course type and safety setup.

  • The minimum participant requirement and maximum capacity are always stated on each individual course page.

  • If the minimum number of participants is not met for your selected date, we will offer one of the following options:

  • Reschedule to the nearest available date.

  • Upgrade to a private or semi private format (price difference may apply)

  • Booking credit according to our Deposit and Booking Policy

  • We aim to confirm the group format no later than 8 days before the start date (or as soon as possible for last-minute bookings).

  • Courses are open to the public and we fill group spots continuously. You do not need to arrange additional participants yourself.

  • We accept bookings up until the last minute, as long as the course is not fully booked and the schedule allows a last minute booking.

No-Shows and Late Arrivals

  • If a participant fails to show up for a confirmed session without prior notice, Freedive Lefkada reserves the right to decline future bookings.

  • Missed sessions due to late arrival, early departure, or personal schedule conflicts are not refundable.

  • We may adjust the schedule only if safety conditions and instructor availability allow it.

Weather and Safety Related Changes​

Freediving depends on conditions such as wind, waves, currents, visibility, and safety logistics.

  • We may change the dive site, reschedule, or adjust the session plan due to safety conditions.

  • If we cannot deliver the service as planned and no alternative is possible, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.

  • If the course has started and only part cannot be delivered, we will refund the undelivered portion of the course fees.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

​

  • To protect your deposit, we strongly recommend travel insurance.

  • Please note that illness, travel disruptions, or missed sessions do not qualify for a refund within the cancellation window.
